Okay, so this session was just… fun. Like, actually so fun.
We literally played old school arcade games, indoor mini golf, drank beer, played Dance Dance Revolution, and sang karaoke. It felt like a really good night out.
If you’re into unique engagement sessions that feel more like your favorite date night than a photoshoot, you’re going to love this one.
Tucked underground in Minneapolis, Can Can Wonderland feels like stepping into a secret world—part art installation, part arcade, part mini golf. It’s also famously known as one of those good-time spots. The kind of place people always suggest for a first date. And for them? It actually was their first date. Coming back here as an engaged couple made the night feel familiar, fun, and full-circle in the best way.
Inside, there was so much like a whole pinball section, blacklight game room, a beer wall, food, arcade games everywhere, and even karaoke in a car—yes, literal car-eoke. Add in a photobooth and an indoor mini golf course layered throughout the art installations, and the whole place feels like one big choose-your-own-adventure!
My engagement sessions are designed to feel like a real date night. I help with location ideas, timing, and communication with venues so everything feels seamless. I capture our time together with a candid, artistic approach using both digital and 35mm film. I focus on how it felt as much as how it looked.
