Nazareth Chapel Fall Wedding at Northwestern

NORTHWESTERN NAZARETH CHAPEL IN AUTUMN

Northwestern’s historic Nazareth Chapel stands as a Victorian castle-like venue that captivates with its architecture in St.Paul, Minnesota. Imagine stunning stained glass windows, orange and white marble, and grand columns and archways throughout the space. Plus there are tons of spots around the property where you can catch the vibrant fall colors, whether you’re going for sun or shade.

HOW THE WEDDING DAY WENT

Susana and PJ started their morning apart, soaking in those quiet moments before coming together for their first look. Their first look was outdoors amidst the vibrant fall colors. They exchanged private letters with each other and prayed setting the intimate tone for the day. They kept things close to their hearts with a ceremony led by their home church’s pastor. And they added their personal touch with a unity candle ceremony, starting with their moms lighting candles, then Susana and PJ bringing those flames together. It’s a beautiful symbol of two lives joining as one.

CREATIVE, UNIQUE, AND ENGAGING RECEPTION ACTIVITIES

Forget the usual glass clinking if you want to see the newlyweds kiss. Instead, Susana and PJ created an engaging kissing menu game with challenges like serenading them, sharing a toast, sharing marriage advice, or telling a funny story. Their grand exit was both sentimental and unique, inspired by PJ’s Air Force career. Guests wrote messages on glow-in-the-dark paper airplanes, releasing them into the night as Susana and PJ made their unforgettable grand exit under flying paper airplanes. Talk about a magical way to end the night.

Well howdy!
