While I specialize in analog motion picture film, I love combining footage from early 2000s camcorders. Considering the limitation of Super 8 is just 3 minutes of footage per film roll, the addition of nostalgic digital footage ensures no memory is left uncaptured.
It's the best of both worlds--and all of your memories make the cut in your home-movie. Just show up as your full self, and I'll handle the rest. I'm dedicated to capturing the unique atmosphere of your day, including every detail, transition, planned event, and intimate moment, all in a fun, relaxed way.

Yes! I prioritize a true home-movie like experience with all the "outtakes" because those memories are just as important. You will receive the uncut "RAW" Super 8 video alongside your feature film edit through your digital gallery. The Super 8 Raw footage undergoes processing, digitization, and color grading to ensure optimal quality. I take the extra step to archive your physical negatives for safekeeping.
Absolutely, while I specialize in analog motion picture film, I include digital camcorder footage to create a hybrid experience. I've found old camcorders to be just as nostalgic while creating a more comprehensive home movie. There's no worries about things getting documented because of the time limitations on a roll of super 8 film.
Your finished film and gallery will be ready within 2-6 months after your wedding. Working with specialty motion picture film requires us to send it to a lab for development and digitization, a process that typically takes a minimum of one month.
Super 8 is traditionally a silent film format, meaning it doesn't capture audio. However, to enrich the storytelling aspect of your wedding memories, I use modern equipment to capture digital audio candidly throughout your day. This ensures that the emotional moments, spoken words, and ambient sounds are seamlessly woven into your Super 8 film, creating a more immersive and memorable narrative of your special day.
Film inherently carries some risks, which is why I bring along with me a 2000s digital camcorder to capture everything on digital and film. I take extra precautions by entrusting your footage to trusted labs, professionally servicing my equipment, and always having a backup Super 8 camera on hand. Your trust is an honor your memories are my priority.
Fill out my contact form. Shortly after, we will get to know each other and talk about your vision and all the details over Google Meet. To officially book your wedding date, you will sign a contract and pay a 30% nonrefundable deposit that goes towards your total cost. The remaining balance is set up on a payment plan with the final payment due one month before your wedding date. I look forward to being a part of your wedding day!
